In early 1990, Pastors Rokus and Carolynne den Hartog heard Jesus speak to them, saying, “I will show you a place where you may dwell, and there you will show my people a whole new way of living.”
By May 1990, the property that would become Dawning Light Fellowship was purchased. Slowly, an old airplane hangar on the property was transformed, one room at a time, into a church.
For 36 years, Dawning Light Fellowship has welcomed visitors from around the world and provided a place for people to encounter Christ and love one another. Following Rokus's passing in 2013, Carolynne has continued the work and ministry of the church.
Carolynne's passion is to create a platform with Yeshua for the corporate body to express itself. Through her ministry, she seeks to encourage others to know their identity in Christ and walk in unconditional love.
Recently, Cornelia den Hartog has joined the ministry team, serving alongside Carolynne to support and strengthen the ongoing work of Dawning Light Fellowship.
